Mr. Odunayo attended King’s College, Lagos from 1966 to December 1970, and graduated from the University of Ile–Ife in 1975 with a degree in Agriculture and was the First Prize winner on the 1980 Final Part II qualifying examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He has several years of business management experience. He worked with Coopers & Lybrand, an international firm of Chartered Accountants, both as an Accountant and a Management Consultant for nearly 10 years. Before he joined the Honeywell Group in 1992, he was the Finance Director of Hagemeyer Nigeria Plc. (now known as D.N.Meyer Plc), a publicly quoted company.

He was appointed the first Managing Director of the Company in April 1997 and has led the growth of the Company from business commencement until this day

A few months ago, he was appointed to the Business Advisory Council of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Lagos and he is the Vice Chairman of that Council. He is also the Vice Chairman, Flour Millers Association of Nigeria and a Council member of the Association of Operative Millers, Middle East and Africa.

He was appointed the Executive Vice Chairman of the company in November 2008.
